Wearable Memories, one piece at a time

Respecting the past while crafting the future

Your Clothes Tell a Story

Upcycle

/ˈʌpsʌɪk(ə)l/

Upcycling is the creative process of taking old or unused materials and transforming them into new, higher-quality products. It’s about giving items a second life, enhancing their value, and reducing waste by reimagining what they can become instead of discarding them.

At Fitol Collections, we believe in cherishing what already exists. Based in Amsterdam, our design studio transforms antique woolen blankets, vintage quilts, and forgotten fabrics into one-of-a-kind wearable art. Every piece celebrates craftsmanship, individuality, and the beauty of materials that tell a story.

Our Vision

We honor the past while embracing a future where fashion values origin, sustainability, and mindful living.

Our Process overview

Our process deconstructs, reimagines, and breathes new life into preloved textiles—from antique upholstery to vintage blankets. Each creation blends history with creativity.

The Designer/ Maker says:

“I find joy in transforming homey, forgotten materials into timeless garments designed to be cherished for years. These textiles, whether sourced, donated, or salvaged, hold stories worth preserving.”

“We believe in creating less but better—fashion that values nature, craftsmanship, and the hands that bring it to life. Investing in slow fashion means honoring quality and sustainability over excess.”

“No two pieces are ever the same. Each garment reflects diversity, individuality, and the timeless signature of upcycling.”

Love Yourself

The time will come when, with elation, you will greet yourself arriving at your own door, in your own mirror, and each will smile at the other’s welcome, and say, sit here. Eat. You will love again the..

you will love again the stranger who was your self.
Give wine. Give bread. Give back your heart to itself, to the stranger who has loved you all your life, whom you ignored for another, who knows you by heart. Sit. Feast on your life.
