Your Clothes Tell a Story

Upcycle

/ˈʌpsʌɪk(ə)l/

Upcycling is the creative process of taking old or unused materials and transforming them into new, higher-quality products. It’s about giving items a second life, enhancing their value, and reducing waste by reimagining what they can become instead of discarding them.

Welcome to Fitol Collections

Every piece starts with a story. We work with pre existed materials, old blankets and linens, forgotten textiles, and materials that once had another life. Our job is to give them a second chance and turn them into clothes that can be worn and loved again.

We design and produce everything locally, in our Amsterdam based studio or with trusted partners in our neighborhood, from the very beginning of our brand. The pieces you see are made by real people, with time, care, and attention to every step. We don’t outsource the work to distant factories. We don’t rush the process. We focus on doing things properly.

Our idea is simple: create less, but create better. Every piece is one-of-a-kind. Small differences, small imperfections — that’s what makes each garment unique.

The prices you see are based on our real studio work: the hours, the hands, the skills, and the materials involved to make each garment properly. We don’t work with retail markups or mass production pricing. If one day our work goes into boutiques or shops, prices would naturally be much higher, but for now, we choose to keep things direct, honest, and personal.

Sometimes we join pop-up events or collaborate with shop owners who value our work. In these moments, you may find a few selected designs available for limited times and small editions, giving you the chance to see and feel the work in person.

The rest of the time, we do our best to share everything behind the scenes through our social media — the process, the work, the people, and every small detail that makes these pieces what they are.

After five years of working like this, we know that many people understand what it means to produce locally, carefully, and slowly. Like a meal made at home — slow is simply better.

With Love and Flowers,

Love Yourself

The time will come when, with elation, you will greet yourself arriving at your own door, in your own mirror, and each will smile at the other’s welcome, and say, sit here. Eat. You will love again the..

you will love again the stranger who was your self.
Give wine. Give bread. Give back your heart to itself, to the stranger who has loved you all your life, whom you ignored for another, who knows you by heart. Sit. Feast on your life.
