Our "STRIPES & ROSES" Blankets Made SHORT BLAZER - COAT - M
From Blanket To Beauty : An elegant Transformation
For Strolling in Cold Weather (-0°C to 12°C)
Let me tell you about our Stripes & Roses Blazer Coat. It’s made from three vintage blankets—grey tones, light blue, and a touch of rose—that I’ve carefully sourced over the years from Amsterdam’s IJ Hallen flea market and some local antique spots. After washing and prepping these beauties, I turned them into this perfect cozy, warm coat.
A Coat with a Story
Every stitch tells a story. Each blanket has its own past, and I’ve given it a second life here. After hours of stitching, I’ve crafted this into a coat that’s as cozy as it is unique. The coat retains the warmth and texture of its origins, with every detail carefully considered. From handpicked vintage buttons to a reclaimed quilt with faint floral patterns as lining, it embodies care and respect for materials—a truly meaningful design.
Why It’s Special
This coat isn’t just about looks.. it’s about the little details that make it special. lt’s a work of craftsmanship, thoughtfully made with over 25 hours of dedication. Key details include:
Double-breasted closure with five vintage buttons I handpicked—each one with its own character.
The oversized lapel collar has an extra button, so you can style it up however you like.
The drop-shoulder sleeves give it that relaxed, comfy vibe.
Big slit side pockets, because I know you’ll need space for your hands or whatever else you’ve got on you.
It’s got that A-line shape that falls just right below the hips for a cozy, flattering look.
Fully lined with a quilted vintage fabric in warm grey, featuring subtle floral stitching that gives it an extra special touch.
Limited Edition: Every piece is one-of-a-kind. One coat at a time. Check the next page to discover how this coat came to life and its story before making it yours—and adding your own story and memories.

This coat is made for that easy, oversized fit (it’s labeled M, but it works for sizes S to small L). I’d say it fits folks between 164 and 173 cm just right, but of course, check the measurements to be sure.
You can throw it over a sweater, a dress, or even layer it with something extra when it’s colder. Perfect for a long walk, office days, or just stepping out for drinks.

The unique story behind your Striped Roses coat:
This blazer coat came to life from three vintage blankets, each found at different times over the years in Amsterdam’s IJ Hallen flea markets and local antique stores as a true thrifted mix.
The striped blanket, made in Holland by TETEM, feels like it’s straight out of the 70s–80s, with its pure wool texture and warm tones. The other two, softer grey and light blue wool blankets, are newer finds, blending beautifully with the classic stripes.
The washing and mending process start during July 24, while the cutting began on October 3rd and 4th, Fusing, and sewing followed on October 5th and 6th, with the lining carefully added by October 16th. The finishing touch—hand-applied buttons—was completed on November 2nd.
Made entirely in our Amsterdam studio, this coat reflects care in every step. From the thoughtfully chosen fabrics to the hand-finished details, it’s designed to be cherished and worn for years to come.
Simple, warm, and full of character, it’s ready to become your go-to coat for cooler days
