The unique story behind your coat:
This earthy-toned 80s–90s blanket set arrived at our studio on November 21, 2022, from Ms. Claude's home in Bellevaux, France.
After a careful wash, the work and cutting process began on September 26th and 29th, 2024, with fusing applied to reinforce the fabric. The sewing process took place on October 12th and 13th, transforming the blanket into this one-of-a-kind jacket. Final touches, including the lining and vintage buttons, were completed by November 1st and 11th, 2024. A small photoshoot beautifully captured its flow and craftsmanship.
This coat now carries over 30 years of warmth and creativity. Crafted by Katerina, who hand-mended, designed, cut, and sewed the coat, she also hand-sewed the buttonholes and buttons, finishing the piece with care and precision.
This coat is made to last,. It is the result of skilled hands and thoughtful craftsmanship. Wear it with pride and joy, knowing that you will be the only person on EARTH wearing it, it’s built to be cherished and one day passed on as a true treasure.
